Indian culture and expressions, which we are concerned with, in our game Antariksha Sanchar, are woefully under-represented in global video game culture, and even more so in our local video game industry. Why does this paradox exist? What are the barriers that have prevented a more vibrant digital expression of Indian intellect and creativity? What are some of the strategies we have employed for our game? What are some provocations that can lead to a culturally relevant, unique modern Indian aesthetic?
