The future of interactive entertainment will be crafted at the frontier between physical and digital realms. Emerging technologies allow digital content to be embedded in a growing ecosystem of physical objects. This blooming age of augmented and connected products opens a whole new field for game designers and developers willing to create playful, innovative and emotionally engaging experiences. In this workshop participants will get an overview of the hybrid game trends, reflect upon what makes an interesting hybrid product and then apply their knowledge to come up with their own hybrid game concept.
